As we begin the 2024-2025 school year, we want to welcome all of our students and staff to MCHS. Our goal is to work together to make this school year an awesome one! Please see the information below that will help guide you through the start of the school year.

First Day with Students - September 5th*. Please see schedule below: 


Grade 10 Students: 

8:50am-11:35am

Bus runs will begin at their normal morning times. Students will be dismissed and bused home at 11:35.


Grade 11 and 12 Students

1:00pm-3:00pm

Bus runs will begin at 12:15. Students will be dismissed at 3:00.

Forms: 

Core Digital Tools Consent, Media Consent and Acceptable Use forms will be available on the Rycor System via the Parent Portal of PowerSchool. Please access these forms using your parent/guardian username and password. This information will be given to students on the first day of classes. Please complete the online forms by September 9th. If you have questions about this process, contact the school.

In addition to forms, we use the Rycor/PowerSchool system to collect fees as well. You can find more information about the NL Schools forms and fees system here.

Recess: 10:50-11:05

Period 3: 11:05-12:05

Lunch: 12:05-1:00 

Period 4: 1:00-2:00

Period 5: 2:00-3:00

Course Change Requests

To request a course change, please complete this form.

The deadline for course request changes is September 13th. 

Priority will be given to grade 12 students who require specific courses to meet graduation requirements. All other requests will be considered based on course availability and space.

Busing

The NL Schools Bus Portal is now available. Families can view information regarding bus routes at this link. Courtesy seating applications are available for students who reside in two homes. Applications can be completed here. 

We have a "grab and go" breakfast program that runs daily. 


At this time there is no cafeteria service. There are microwaves available for student use.
